Specification of Panel Board

Cubicles shall be made from high quality steel frame and plates and shall be assembled keep in mind to easy maintenance. Paints applied on the cubicles shall be durable and suitable for harsh environment.

Component such as isolators, bus bars, relays, switches and instruments shall be from reputable manufacturer.

Synchronizing panels and distribution panels shall fully comply with relevant international standards.

The panel shall be manufactured using power coated mild steel sheets of 1.6 mm thickness. The thickness of the front door panel shall be 2.4 mm. a strong base frame of 100mm tall shall be provided with the panel board. The panel board shall be a free standing, bottom cable entry type panel.

Air Circuit Breaker Control panel (7 cubicles) – (Control Panel):

1)  Bus bar

TP and N (same size neutral) hard drain high copper conductivity air insulated tinned bus bar shall be provided at the back of the enclosure, stably brace for 30kA – 80kA 1- second fault rating. The current rating of bus bar shall be 6000A.

2)  Air Circuit Breaker

5 x Three pole Merlin Gerin or equivalent ACB, rated at 2000 Amp @ 600/1000V with 220 Volt under Voltage Trip Coil and 5 Ampere rated auxiliary switches shall be used as a main circuit breaker for each generator incoming.

2 x Three pole Merlin Gerin or equivalent ABC, rated at 2000 Amp @ 600/1000V with 220 Volt under Voltage Trip Coil and 5 Ampere rated auxiliary switches shall be used as a main circuit breaker for each transformer feeding panel.

3)  Indicators

Led indicator shall be fixed on each phase of generator incoming, bus bar and transformer feeding panels. And also LED indicator lights shall be fixed to indicate the ACB position.

4)  Current Transformers

4 numbers of 2000/5A, class1, 15VA current transformers shall be fixed on each generator incoming side and 4 numbers of 4000/5A, class1, 15VA current transformers shall be fixed on outgoing side of each transformer feeding panel.

5)  Wiring and Terminations

Suitable number of din rail 3-pole 2.5sqmm terminals shall be used to terminate the ACB control wires, Current Transformer wiring, and voltage sensing wiring which is to be connected to the Control panel via a multicore control cable.

Generator and Transformer feeding Control Panels (8 cubicles) – Synchronizing Panel:

1)  The following equipment shall be fixed in each generator control panel

DSE8810 Auto Start Load share Control Module

Emergency Push Button

DC on/off Key Switch

Running Mode Selector Switch (Load Share/Fixed Export)

Automatic engine battery charger of charging current 5A/24VDC for offline charging. And additional 10A/24VDC charger for online charging with charging ampere meter for each charger.

2)  The following items shall be fixed in each Transformer Feeding Panel

DSE335 Auto Transfer Switch Control Module

Emergency Push Button

DC on/off Key Switch

3)  A Separate panel shall be fixed with a 22” touch screen monitor and CPU unit to display SCADA data from all DSE units.
