- Diagnosing malfunctions and defects in equipment
- Reading blueprints and electrical and electronic schematics
- Grasping electrical and plumbing concepts
- Operating tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems
§ Complex problem-solving and critical-thinking skills allow for quick diagnosis of air conditioning problems and determining the best course of action for repairs
§ Repair, installation and upgrading of new units
Qualifications and Education Requirements
§ Advance Certificate from a recognized institution
§ A combination of experience and qualifications may be considered.
§ Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant filed.
