INVITATION FOR BIDS

Subject: Construction of a Jetty at Ha. Baarah(Re-tender)

1.The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, on behalf of Ministry of Housing and Environment (the

   Employer), invites sealed bids from eligible local and foreign firms for Construction of Jetty in

   HA. Baarah.

2.  Tender Documents for each project may be obtained from Tender Evaluation Section of Ministry of Finance and Treasury, from 26^th December 2013 to 09^th January 2014 between 0830 hrs and 1400 hrs on all working days, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MVR 1500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred).

4. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of MRF 190,000.00 (Hundred and ninety Thousand) which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. The amount of performance security shall be 10% of contract price. An advance payment of 15% of contract price will be provided upon submission of an advance payment guarantee.

5. Pre-bid meetings will be held on 12^th January 2014 (Sunday) at 1300 hrs Maldivian time at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.

6. Bids shall be valid for a period of 148 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified above in Clause 3 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1400 hrs Maldivian time on 20^th January  2014 (Thursday), at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend.
