INVITATION FOR BIDS   

1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, on behalf of Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure (the Employer), invites bids from local and international eligible and qualified bidders for the Design, Build and Finance of 500 Housing Units (B.Eydhafushi (100 Units), Dh.Kudahuvadhoo (50 Units), and Dh.Meedhoo (50 Units), L.Gan (200 Units), R.Maduvvari (50 Units), and Sh.Komandoo (50 Units).

 Bidders have the option to bid for any one or all the lots.

2. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa Thousand Five Hundred) for each project from22^nd May  2018 to 30^th May  2018between 1030hrs and 1230hrs on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv

3. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security specified in clause 1 of this Invitation. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening.

4. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 6 of this invitation for bids on or before 1300 Hours Maldivian Time on Sunday, 27^th May 2018

5.  Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in Clause 6 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1100 hrs Maldivian Time on 31^st May 2018,at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
