This position requires a talented and highly conceptual focused designer who can work across digital, identity, and print. 

Confidence, Conviction and problem-ownership are big aspects of this role as they would expect the person to present and defend their ideas in front of senior management.

Graphic Design is integral to the work we deliver in corporate communications and this new role is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of creative solutions that work across digital, social and print, to help drive audience engagement with the work of Maldives Ports Limited.

1.       Educational qualification

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communication, or Equivalent.
2. Or have 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

2.       Personal Skills & Competencies

1. At least 5-10 years’ experience
2. Possess extensive knowledge of the basic Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign). Any additional knowledge of motion graphics (from GIF creation upwards) and or 3D software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D etc. would be an extremely useful asset.
3. Confident in sharing ideas and problem solving under pressure

5. Use initiative and be a self-starter
6. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
7. Have impeccable attention to detail
8. Be a team player
9. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. Have perfect command of the English Language
11. Have a cracking attitude and hunger to learn/push themselves
12. Ability to work independently with little supervision
13. A solid understanding of the design process from concept to final delivery
