Supply and Delivery of Fire Lorry, Firefighting Equipment, Operational Equipment, Security Equipment and Navigational and MET equipment’s to Hdh.Kulhudhufushi Airport

INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, on behalf of Treasury, on behalf of Ministry of Tourism - Regional Airports (the Employer), did not receive responsive bids to the Invitation for Bids Ref (IUL) 13-K/13/2017/36 and therefore wish to annul the referred bidding process and re-invite bids from eligible and qualified bidders to Supply and Delivery of Fire Lorry and Equipment’s to Hdh.Kulhudhufushi Airport.

2.The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) for this tender from20^th March 2018 to1^st April 2018 between 0830hrs and 1200hrs on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv

3. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of the amount specified in clause 1 of this Invitation or equivalent in USD for each lot, which shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening. The amount of performance security shall be 5% of contract price. An advance payment of 15% of contract price will be provided upon submission of an advance payment guarantee.

4. If there is any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 6 of this invitation for bids on or before 28^th March 2018 at 1200 Hours Maldivian Time on Wednesday,

Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in Clause 6 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1100hrs. Maldivian Time on 5^th April 2018, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
