Consultancy to Develop the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) for the Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector, Maldives

The Government of Maldives through the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE) is seeking a full-time National Consultant responsible for the development of an Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan. The EOI requested by Ministry’s Advertisement No. (IUL)438-WS/438/2018/21 dated 14th January 2018 has been cancelled, since we did not receive adequate number of interested parties, thus Ministry re-invites interested parties to conduct assignment for the second time.

The main objective of the assignment is to assist Ministry of Environment and Energy in developing an initial response strategy and operational plan to meet the initial humanitarian needs during the first three to four weeks of a water emergency.

The Ministry of Environment and Energy now invites interested eligible consultants to submit their Expressions of Interest (EoI). Interested consultants must provide information including that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions and general qualifications, and so forth).

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the National Procurement Regulations issued by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
