Construction of Runway, Taxiways and Apron at Sh. Funadhoo and Gdh.Maavarulu Airport

INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, on behalf of Ministry of Tourism - Regional Airports (the Employer), invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following works.

2. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) per tender from5^th February 2018 to 13^th February 2018 between 0830hrs and 1200hrs on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv

3. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of the amount specified in clause 1 of this Invitation for Bids which shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening. The amount of performance security shall be 5% of contract price. An advance payment of 15% of contract price will be provided upon submission of an advance payment guarantee.

4. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 8^th February 2018 at 1100 hrs. Maldivian time at the National Tender Meeting Room of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury. Any Clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 6 of this invitation for bids on or before 1400 Hours Maldivian Time on Monday, 8^th February 2018.

5. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in Clause 6 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1100hrs. Maldivian Time on 15^th February 2018, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
