The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received funding from United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for the “Implementation of an environmentally sound management of municipal and hazardous solid waste to reduce emissions from unintentional POPs and PCBs”. The Government of the Maldives is now seeking the consultancy services for laboratory analysis to test the PCB samples taken from these two cities where the equipment is located.

Ministry invites eligible consultancy firms to submit proposals according to the Terms of Reference (TOR). The detail TOR for the consultancy is available to download from the ministry’s website (http://www.environment.gov.mv ) and also TOR can be directly downloaded from this announcement. All inquiries regarding this announcement should be mailed to the address below.

Proposals must be delivered in sealed envelopes to the address below on or before 19^th December 2017 at 1300 hours local time. For detailed submission instructions refer to the TOR. Electronic bidding is not permitted and late bid will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in person at the address below on 19^th December 2017 at 1300 hours.
