Invitation for Expression of Interest:

To operate a Food and Beverage Outlet at Velana International Airport

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) invites all interested parties to submit their Expression of Interest to operate an internationally reputed brand F&B Outlet at the International Departure Terminal of Velana International Airport.

1.      Outlet Concept

2.      Registration

Interested parties are requested to register on or before 1500hrs of November 29, 2017. Parties may register by written letter or via email ([email protected]). Registration is open only for international franchise brands.

Documents to be submitted along with registration letter/email:

-          Company Registration Certificate

-          Taxpayer Registration

-          Submitting Brand’s Franchise License or Letter from the Brand that Franchise application is in process.

-          Contact Number and Email ID

Parties interested in operating the F&B Outlet must acquire the franchise license for the respective brand. The party may acquire the franchise license before or after the expression of interest to operate the F&B Outlet and shall submit the License with the Proposal.

Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued to and Bids can be submitted only by the Parties that register to participate in this tender.

3.      Requirements to qualify for the Tender Evaluation Process

3.1.             Parties who registered with MACL on or before November 29, 2017.

3.2.             Applicant must be a Sole Proprietorship, Limited Liability Partnership or a Limited Liability Company or document that states the party is in the process of acquiring the license.

3.3.             Applicant must have acquired the franchise license for the brand or a letter from the brand to the applicant of this intent.

3.4.             Applicant must NOT be a party who has been listed for unpaid dues to MACL or any other government entities.

3.5.             Applicant must NOT have any pending, active, or previous legal action that prevents the Bidder from submitting the Bid, executing Agreement or fulfilling the conditions of the Agreement.

3.6.             Applicant must be a going-concern and be able to submit audited financial records for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016. (Applicants who are sole proprietors or limited liability partnerships must also have their financial reports audited by a certified external auditor).

4.   Closing date for Registration of EOI is November 29, 2017

5.   Pre-bid Meeting is scheduled for December 04, 2017

6.   Final Tender Hand-In Date is December 12, 2017
