INVITATION FOR BIDS   

1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, on behalf of Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure  (the Employer), invites bids from local and international eligible and qualified bidders for the Design, Build and Finance of 300 Housing Units (Lh.Hinnavaru (100 Units), Lh.Naifaru (100 Units), and S.Feydhoo (100 Units).

2. Bidders have the option to bid for any one or all the lots.

 3. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa One thousand Five Hundred) for the project from16^th October 2017 to 21^st November 2017between 0830hrs and 1300hrs on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv

 4. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security specified in clause 2 of this Invitation. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening.

 5. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 7 of this invitation for bids on or before 1400 Hours Maldivian Time on Thursday, 9^th November 2017.

 6.  Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the  Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in Clause 6 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1100 hrs Maldivian Time on 23^rd November 2017,at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
