Letter of Invitation to Tender

Invitation of Tender No: HDC(161)-PRO/IU/2017/142

1. Housing Development Corporation Limitedinvites sealed tenders from eligible bidders for Development of Commercial Front of approximately 568.72 m² (6121.69 ft²) in Hulhumalé, Maldives(hereinafter called the “Works” or “Project”) and the remedying of any defects therein.

1. Housing Development Corporation Limited will be financing for the works.

1. Eligible interested tenderers may obtain further information about this Invitation of Tender from, and inspect the tender documents at the office ofHousing Development Corporation Ltd, 3^rd Floor, HDC Building, Hulhumalé, Republic of Maldives.

1. A complete set of the tender documents may be obtained by eligible interested Tenderers from HDC’s website link: www.hdc.com.mv/announcements. Bidders may contact us at [email protected] to acquire the bid document as well.

1. Tenders must be submitted to the office mentioned above in Clause 4, not later than 14:00 hrs, 24^th October  2017  and must be accompanied by a tender security, in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers, in the amount of MVR 50,000.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa Fifty Thousand).

1. Tenders will be opened in a session to be held at the office mentioned above in Clause 5, and in the presence of representatives of tenderers who wish to attend. This session will take place at time and date tabulated in Clause 7 of this section or such other time and date as may be notified to the tenderers.
