JOB OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for an experienced and professional to fill the following post.

Post:  Accountant (Contract)

Role:  Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing full set of accounts and the full spectrum of accounting duties which include the timely and accurate closing of accounts and submission of monthly financial reports and preparation of yearly budget. You will also compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts and document business transactions. You will need to establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

Profile:  You will be highly independent with a solid knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. You should possess a degree in Accounting or have an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA / CIMA or CPA (part qualification) with at least 3 years’ experience. You should be a team player with strong analytical and problem solving capabilities and have the ability to meet tight deadlines, work flexible schedules and maintain composure when working under pressure.

Remuneration package:

• Basic Salary : MVR 12600.00
• Food Allowance : MVR 1800.00
• Attendance Allowance : MVR 2000.00
• Professional Allowance : 40% of Basic Salary
• Pension Amount will be deducted according to the Employment Act.
