(REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP
1. The Government of Republic of Maldives has allocated funds in the PSIP Budget 2017 towards the cost of sewerage infrastructure development on Ga. Villingili – New Settlement Area and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards procuring the services of Survey and Design consultancy of this project. The RFP requested by Ministry’s Advertisement No. (IUL)438-WS/438/2017/164 dated 06th August 2017 has been cancelled due to high price quotes than expected, thus Ministry re-invites interested parties to provide the required services.
2. The services include Survey Works, Preparation of Preliminary Design and Detailed Design and Tender Documents and Environment Impact Assessment for the Provision of Sewerage Facilities in Ga. Villingili – New Settlement Area, Maldives.
3. The Government of Maldives, represented by Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE), now invites interested eligible consultants to submit their proposals according to the Request for Proposals (RFP). Interested parties must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Parties may associate to enhance their qualifications.
4. The RFP Document for the services will be available on the Ministry website www.environment.gov.mv. Also, the RFP can be directly downloaded from this announcement. Interested parties may obtain further information on request by writing to the address below. All interested bidders shall be registered to submit the bids through email to [email protected]. Bidders who do not register shall not be valid for bid submission. The last of bid registration is 17th September 2017.
5. The proposals should be submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Energy address below. All submissions will be opened at the Ministry of Environment and Energy at 11:00 hours on 26th September 2017 in the presence of representative of the bidders.
