INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE), invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified Bidders for Design, Build and Installation of RO plant at below Islands:

A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Environment and Energy website http://www.environment.gov.mv from July 31, 2017.

The Bidder shall furnish a Bid Security of the amount stated above table of this Invitation for Bids which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid (118 days). The Amount of Performance Security required under the contract shall be 5% of the Contract Price.

Pre-bid meeting will be held on August 07, 2017, Monday at 1000 hours local time at the Ministry of Environment and Energy. Attending and registrar at the pre-bid is compulsory as bidders who do not attend the pre-bid meeting will not be eligible to submit their bid proposal.

Bid opening: BidsShall be Valid for a period of 90 days from the date of Bid of Opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Environment and Energy at the address specified below, on 1130hrs, local time on August 14, 2017, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
