INVITATION FOR BIDS
1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, on behalf of Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure (the Employer), did not receive sufficient response for the invitation no: (IUL) 13-K/13/2017/89 and re-invites bids from local and international eligible and qualified bidders for the Re-Construction of M.Veyvah Habour
2. The bidder shall be a listed member of the National Contractors Registry and shall satisfy the HC01-1, HC01-2, HC01-3 & HC01-4 in order to be eligible to participate in this tender.
3. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) for the project from20th June 2017 to 10th July 2017between 0830hrs and 1300hrs(between 10:30hrs to 13:00hrs during Ramazan days) on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv
4. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of MVR 70,000/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa Seventy thousand) for the project. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening.
5. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 7 of this invitation for bids on or before 1330 Hours Maldivian Time on Tuesday, 11th July 2017.
6. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in Clause 7 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1000 hrs Maldivian Time on 19th July 2017,at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
