INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, on behalf of Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure (the Employer), invites bids from local and international eligible and qualified bidders for the following projects

2. The bidder shall be a listed member of the National Contractors Registry and shall satisfy one of the above grades in order to be eligible to participate in each of the above project.

3. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) for each of the above project from14^th March 2017 to 12^th April 2017between 0830hrs and 1330hrs on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv

4. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security for each of the project for the amount specified in clause 1 of this Invitation. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening. The amount of performance security shall be 5% of contract price. An advance payment of 15% of contract price will be provided upon submission of an advance payment guarantee.

5. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 1 of this invitation for bids on or before 1300 Hours Maldivian Time on Tuesday, 4^th April 2017.

6. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in Clause 9 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1100 hrs Maldivian Time on Thursday, 13^h April 2017, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
