Subject: CargoX-Ray Screening Charges at Velana International Airport (VIA)  

“X-Ray Screening charge” is defined as the charge applicable to the customer based on the shipments screened and exported from Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) cargo. The charge includes minimum charge (up to 400 kg) and X-Ray charge per kg.

This circular supersedes and cancels the offering of X-Ray Screening service in Circular No: MACL-CGO/CIR/2014/06 (Dated: September 30, 2014) and any previous offer made by MACL to Clients associated to the X-Ray Screening service.

We wish to liaise that X-Ray Screening Charges with respective effective date as mentioned below would be applicable until the next price and service revision circular is issued.

1. All amounts stated are in Maldivian Rufiyaa and subject to additional 6% GST.

2. Service shall be provided on receipt of payment.
