Maldives-Enhancing Education Development Project (EEDP)

The government of Maldives has received Aid for the Enhancing Education Development Project (EEDP), administered by the World Bank and to be implemented by Quality Assurance Department (QAD) of the Ministry of Education (MoE). Under the project, MoE will finance the improvement and/or expansion of schools across the country.

As part of this project QAD seeks a specialist/consultant to support on data analysis and reporting of National Assessment of Learning Outcomes (NALO).

Interested eligible Individual Consultants are invited to the information session to be held on 20^th October 2016, 11:30am at Edhuruhiyaa 9^th Floor.

Expressions of Interest will be accepted only from the individuals who attended the information session for the following position. Expressions of Interest need to be submitted along with the CV, reference letters related to National/Educational Assessment, attested copies of validated documents supporting the candidate’s qualification and experience, and the attested copy of ID card/Passport on or before 29th October 2016, 13:00pm for the following position. The applications would not be processed if attested validated documents supporting the candidate’s qualification and experience are not submitted.

Individual Consultant to Support Quality Assurance Department on Data Analysis and Reporting of National Assessment of Learning Outcomes..

Objective

1. The objective of this assignment is to; (i) carry out data analysis of national assessments of learning outcomes, and (ii) prepare and submit a report of findings of the aforementioned analysis.

• Duration of service and terms of payment

The service is for a period of two months. The consultant will be hired as a specialist/consultant under the project. This is a lump sum contract and will be paid on completion of the assignment outputs in accordance with the agreed rate.

Note: Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (January 2011).
