Construction of B. Eydhafushi Hospital Extension and Construction of B.Kendhoo School 4 Classroom, Godown and Hall Building- Package H

INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following works.

2. Bidders shall quote for all the projects.

3. The bidder shall be a listed member of the National Contractors Registry and shall satisfy one of the following grades in order to be eligible to participate in this tender,

GC01-1, GC01-2 and GC01-03

4. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) for the package from21^st September 2016 to 3^rd October 2016between 0830hrs and 1430hrs on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv

5. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security for each of the project for the amount specified in clause 1 of this Invitation. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 daysfrom the date of bid opening. The amount of performance security shall be 5% of contract price. An advance payment of 15% of contract price will be provided upon submission of an advance payment guarantee.

6. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 9 of this invitation for bids on or before 1330 Hours Maldivian Time on Monday, 26^th September 2016.

7. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in Clause 9 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1000 hrs Maldivian Time on 4^th October 2016, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
