INVITATION FOR BIDS
1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, did not receive a substantially responsive bid / sufficient bids to the Invitation for Bids Ref (IUL)13-K1/13/2016/114 and therefore wish to annul the referred bidding process and re-invite bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following works

2. Bidders shall quote for all the projects.
3. The bidder shall be a listed member of the National Contractors Registry and shall satisfy one of the following grades in order to be eligible to participate in this tender,
GC01-1, GC01-2 and GC01-03
4. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) for the package from29th august 2016 to 20th September 2016 between 8:30hrs and 13:30hrs on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv
5. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security for each of the project for the amount specified in clause 1 of this Invitation. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening. The amount of performance security shall be 5% of contract price. An advance payment of 15% of contract price will be provided upon submission of an advance payment guarantee.
6. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 9 of this invitation for bids on or before 13:30 Hours Maldivian Time on Thursday, 8th September 2016.
7. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in Clause 8 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 10:00 hrs Maldivian Time on 22nd September 2016, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
