REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Subjects: Consultancy for the formulation of detailed design and tender documents for interconnection of grid between Male’ and Hulhumale’.
1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives represented by the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE) requires the consultancy service to formulate detailed design and tender documents for interconnection of grid between Male’ and Hulhumale’, thus Ministry of Finance and Treasury invites interested parties to conduct this assignment.
The development objective of the proposed project is the improvement of the quality of life of people in the Male’ and Hulhumale’ through improved access to modern electricity. The expected outcome of the project is to establish a power interconnection between Male’ and Hulhumale’.
The Consultancy team should have qualifications, expertise and experience as mentioned in the Terms of Reference. The assignment shall be completed within four (4) calendar months following the signing of the contract for consultancy services.
The Ministry of Finance and Treasury now invites interested eligible consultancy groups to submit their proposal, including CV, information that demonstrates their qualification to perform the services (description of similar assignments and experience in similar conditions, familiarity with appropriate skills, reference etc). A Price Proposal indicating the breakdown of all costs associated to the assignment. The proposal should have a validity of at least 90 days period.
2. Interested eligible candidates may obtain the Terms of Reference (ToR) on the submission of a written application to the address below, during between 0830 hrs and 1330 hrs on all working days from April 14, 2016 till April 28, 2016.
3. Interested eligible candidates should submit the proposal accordance with the ToR to the following address, not later than 1100 hours local time on 5th May 2016.
