Introduction

Male’ Water & Sewerage Company Pvt Ltd (MWSC) invites interested and qualified suppliers, local and international, to register their interest in the “Material Procurement through International Competitive Tender under a Contractor Finance (Deferred Payment) Arrangement for S.Feydhoo (W&S), B.Kudarikilu(W&S), Tha.Madifushi (W), Th.Dhiyamigilli (W) & S.Hithadhoo (W&S)”.

Scope of Work

The selected Supplier shall supply the Goods in accordance with MWSC’s requirements under a contractor financing arrangement. The Supplier shall be responsible for all activities associated with the complete supply, including logistics, quality assurance, documentation, and delivery required for the above-mentioned project.

Delivery Requirements

• The Supplier must deliver the Goods within the following Delivery Periods:

Main Goods: 150 days after the Effective Date, or the shorter period offered in the Supplier’s bid.

Later Goods: 240 days after the Effective Date.

• Within 21 days of the Effective Date, the Supplier must submit a delivery programme for MWSC’s approval, provide monthly updates on manufacturing and shipment, and promptly notify MWSC of any expected delays.
• The Supplier must submit the required shipping documents at least 7 days before each shipment arrives at the Delivery Place. The Supplier shall bear any demurrage, storage, or other costs arising from late, missing, or incorrect documents.

 Qualification Requirements

Interested and qualified tenderers wishing to undertake this project shall meet the following requirements and submit the relevant supporting documents:

• Business Registration Certificate.
• Company Profile / Portfolio.
• GST Registration Certificate (This document is required to be submitted by Locally registered tenderers only)
• Company Business Information Sheet (Economic Ministry), Generated within 1 month from the Bid submission deadline (This document is required to be submitted by Locally registered tenderers only)
• Manufacturer authorization for the principal equipment offered where the tenderer is not the manufacturer.
• Evidence of previous projects of comparable nature and complexity.
• Demonstrated financial capacity and/or access to financing to support the required Supplier Financing arrangement.

           Audited financial statements for the last [3] financial years (including the related audit reports)

 Registration Process

Interested tenderers are required to register for the tender through the link Bidder Registration between 29^th October 2026 to 07^th November 2026. Further information and a soft copy of the tender documents will be shared with the registered tenderers on 10^th November 2026.

Bid Security & Performance Guarantee

Each vendor must furnish a bid security of MVR 150,000/-, in the form of a tender security from a bank or a bond issued by a surety. The tender security shall be issued by a reputable institution. Where that institution is located outside the Republic of Maldives, it shall have correspondent banking institution located in the Republic of Maldives to make it enforceable.

The successful vendor must furnish to the Employer a performance Bank Guarantee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Contract sum within Fourteen (14) days of receipt of the notification of award from the Employer.
