Maldives Port Development Pvt Ltd (MPD) invites qualified and experienced vessel builders and suppliers to submit proposals for the supply of one (1) fibreglass monohull passenger ferry with a minimum capacity of 150 persons (including crew), in accordance with the General Specification attached to this announcement.

Eligibility

• For a newly built vessel, the bidder must be a builder with an existing building facility and more than 5 years of proven track record in building similar vessels.

Documents to be Submitted

• Company registration certificate and GST registration (if applicable)

• Full specification sheets of the vessel, main engine and generator

• Technical drawings, including General Arrangement (GA) plans with profiles

• Details of similar vessels previously built or supplied

• Price proposal, delivery period and warranty terms (minimum 1 year)

Inspection

MPD will carry out a pre-delivery inspection and a post-delivery inspection with sea trial before acceptance of the vessel.

The detailed General Specification is attached to this announcement.

All prices must be stated clearly in the proposal, together with the applicable currency, taxes, duties, freight, delivery to Malé, and any other charges. Any exclusions or assumptions must be identified separately.
