Male' Water and Sewerage Company Private Limited (MWSC) is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and productive workplace for all employees. As part of its Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 45001:2018, and commitment to employee wellbeing, MWSC intends to engage a qualified healthcare provider to conduct comprehensive Hygiene Testing and Medical Checkup services for its employees.

MWSC employees perform a variety of duties, including office-based work, field operations, wastewater operations, manufacturing activities, laboratory work, driving, and maintenance tasks. These roles may expose employees to different occupational health risks. Regular health screening is therefore essential to identify health concerns at an early stage, monitor fitness for work, promote employee wellbeing, and support preventive healthcare initiatives.

Male’ Water & Sewerage Company Pvt. Ltd, hereby re-announces the Invitation for Proposals for "Provision of Hygiene Testing and Medical Checkup Services for MWSC Employees," allowing additional time for interested parties to participate.

Interested tenderers are requested to review the attached Terms of Reference (TOR) for the detailed scope of work and qualification requirements. Please follow the schedule below to complete the registration and proposal submission processes.

Scope of Work

The selected Service Provider shall provide hygiene testing and medical examination services at its licensed medical facility using qualified medical practitioners, laboratory personnel, and certified diagnostic equipment.

The Service Provider shall ensure that adequate staffing, facilities, laboratory capacity, and equipment are available throughout the contract period.

Qualification Information & Requirement

Interested service providers wishing to provide services for this project must meet the following requirements and submit supporting documents demonstrating compliance:

Mandatory Technical Qualification (Pass/Fail)

Only bidders who meet all the following mandatory requirements shall proceed to final evaluation:

The bidder must demonstrate:

• Valid business registration in the Maldives
• All required health service and laboratory licenses
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in occupational health, medical screening, and laboratory services
• Availability of a licensed medical facility in the Greater Malé Region
• Capability to perform all medical and hygiene tests listed in this RFP
• Access to an accredited laboratory (in-house or approved partner)
• Ability to meet MWSC turnaround time requirements (appointments and reporting timelines)
• Adequate staffing, equipment, and diagnostic capacity

Bids failing any of the above shall be disqualified and shall not proceed to scoring.
