3. The Eligible Tenderers are limited to:
- The applicant must not be a Blacklisted / Default/ Legal Customer of State Trading Organization Plc. or any subsidiaries of State Trading Organization Plc.
- The applicant must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Ministry of Finance and must not have any unresolved issues with the Ministry of Economic Development or MIRA
4. Vessel specifications:
- Vessel Type: Wood or Fiber
- Vessel Loading Capacity: Minimum 200MT (4000 Bags) and Maximum: 300MT (6000 Bags) 50kg Construction Materials Bags
- Empty vessel should not be higher than 06ft from top deck surface to sea level
- Vessel below deck (cargo hold) should be available for loading of general cargo (Home improvement & Supermarket items)
5. Required documents
- Company registration certificate
- Shareholder ID cards
- Relevant Tax Certificates
- Business Permit
- Business Profile
- Memorandum of Association
- Article of Association
- Vessel Registration Certificate
- Safety certificates (Barumaruka Certificate, Salaamathee Certificates)
- Copy of insurance policy of the vessel
- Letter of consent if the bidder is not the owner of the proposed vessel
- Proposed Vessel details

Deadline for Registration is 15th September 2026, 1100hrs.
Registrations received after the deadline will not be accepted
A complete set of bidding documents in English will be emailed to all registered parties who meet compliance requirements. |
