Job Vacancy - Pharmacist

R. Ungoofaaru Local Authority Company (ULAC) is a wholly owned company of the R. Ungoofaaru Council. ULAC serves as the Council's commercial and development arm, undertaking business activities, managing designated commercial ventures and assets, and implementing projects that support the socio-economic development of R. Ungoofaaru.

ULAC invites qualified and experienced pharmacists to apply for the following position:

Position: Pharmacist (2 Positions)
Work Location:  Rayyithunge Pharmacy / R. Ungoofaaru
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and inventory management of the pharmacy and controlled medications to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Ensure the accurate dispensing and release of medications and pharmaceutical supplies in compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Conduct regular quality checks and ensure proper documentation for all medications and medical supplies within the pharmacy.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for the timely sourcing, ordering, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor stock levels, manage expiry dates, and implement protocols for the safe disposal of expired or damaged products.
• Ensure all store operations adhere to health, safety, and legal requirements relevant to pharmaceutical storage and handling.
• Support audits and inspections by maintaining accurate records and facilitating compliance with regulatory authorities.

 Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree (MQA Level 7) in Pharmacy or a related discipline, with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of relevant professional experience, OR
• Diploma (MQA Level 5 or 6) in Pharmacy or a related discipline, with a minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
• Must be registered with the Maldives Allied Health Council (MAHC) and hold a valid license to practice as required by applicable regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory and stock management, and ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and professional standards.

 Salary & Benefits:

• Salary MVR 13,000 - MVR 15,000 (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
• Accommodation (provided for employees residing outside R. Ungoofaaru)
