Educational Qualification and Experience: |
- Member of an IFAC-recognized professional accounting body. (e.g, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) - Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management position involving financial management, financial reporting, or corporate reporting. |
|
Additional Skills: |
- Expert knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). - Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. - Advanced proficiency in accounting, financial management, and business software applications. - High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability and analytical ability. - Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills. |

Duties and Responsibilities:
|
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company’s objectives and long-term sustainability. - Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow plans. - Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and statutory reports in compliance with IFRS and applicable regulations. - Maintain effective financial controls and safeguard company assets. - Manage treasury operations, banking relationships, financing and investments. - Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, PCB requirements and board policies. - Oversee financial risk management and internal control frameworks. - Coordinate with Internal and External Auditors and ensure implementation of audit recommendations. - Lead and manage the Finance Division and ensure effective performance of finance staff. - Report material financial risks, irregularities, and compliance issues to Management and the Board. - Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, filing tax returns, and implementing tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax liabilities. - Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the CEO or Board in accordance with company’s policies.
