Qualification Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.

  • Professional certification in Risk Management or Compliance.

Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution.

  • Advanced certifications in Risk Management, AML/CFT, Compliance, Governance, or Internal Audit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance monitoring and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory, AML/CFT, KYC, and payment system requirements.

  • Manage suspicious transaction monitoring, regulatory reporting, sanctions screening, and stakeholder engagement with regulators and banks.

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee the company’s risk management framework, risk register, and mitigation plans.

  • Prepare and present risk and compliance reports, dashboards, and recommendations to management and the Board Risk Committee.

  • Promote a strong risk and compliance culture through policy development, training, awareness programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
