Social Media Officer (Full Time)

Job Title:

Assisting to the Media Department and other Departments.

Job Summary:

Negotiable

Salary:

 • A minimum qualification in Journalism or Media at level 4, 5 or 6 according to the Maldives National Qualifications Framework. 

Educational Qualification:

 • Create, shoot, and edit videos for use in different FAM events.

• Created and distributed videos in multiple formats to meet the association’s requirement. 

• Setting up the ideal environment for video recording.  

• Recommend and guide the Association on the most effective methods for video recording.  

 • Organize and store all files related to recorded raw footage, editing files, Premier Pro projects files, edited videos, and finalized videos according to the system established by the association.  

• Carrying out any other tasks as may be assigned by the association.   

• Actively taking part in the association’s promotional events and keeping a record of the association’s events and meetings.

• Advertising the association’s events and partnerships on social media.  

• Designing the layouts for books, magazines, leaflets, and other materials published by the association. 

• Managing and updating the association’s social media accounts according to the supervisor’s guidance. 

• Attend meetings on scheduled days.

• Safeguard confidentiality and refrain from sharing any administrative information with anyone without the consent of the responsible owner.

• Providing information to visitors and callers about various issues, and notifying the appropriate authorities of their submissions.

• Additionally, all tasks delegated to the supervisor concerning the official duties of the association.

  • * Create posts for platforms like Instagram,   

       Facebook, Linkedln, TikTok. etc. This includes:

-       Writing Captions & copy.

-       Designing visuals (images, reels, videos)

-       Planning a content calendar aligned with 

         campaigns,  events, or promotions.

  • Handle the company’s profiles daily:

-       Posting content at the right times.

-       Keeping profiles updated (bio, links, branding)

-       Ensuring consistency in tone and style.

  • Track performance and improve results:

-       Monitoring likes, shares. Reach engagement.

-       Using tools (like Meta Insights, Google Analytics)

-       Creating reports to show what’s working & what’s not.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the General Secretary.

Reporting Line: 

  • Attested copy of academic Certificates & Transcripts 

  • Attested original copy of National ID Card

  • Curriculum Vitae

  • Other experience related certificates

  • References provided by other employers
