INVITATION TO APPLY FOR LICENSE: TO USE A TOURIST REPRESENTATIVECOUNTER AT IBRAHIM NASIR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, REPUBLIC OF MALDIVES.

1.       Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) wishes to invite interested eligible parties to submit applications to grant a license to use a Tourist Representative Counter at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.

2.       TRC ZONES AND FEE STRUCTURE

2.1   Following table outlines the number of TR Counters available in each Zone and the Eligible Applicants for the Zones.

2.2   Applicants shall accept the counter allotted via the ballot process, regardless of the TRC Zone or the monthly fee. If the applicant does not wish to abide by this condition, MACL shall reserve the right to reject the application.

3.       DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED

Certified true copies of the following documents must be submitted along with the Application Form.

3.1   Company Registration Certificate.

3.2   Tourism Ministry Permit.

3.3   TGST Registration Certificate.

4.       Briefing Session

A briefing session is scheduled for Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 1030hrs at the Corporate Office of MACL to provide additional information on the application process. Only one (1) representative from eachinterested eligible party is advised to participate in the briefing session.

 Submitting Applications

Applications duly completed in all respects should be submitted to Commercial & Marketing Section, Maldives Airports Company Limited, from December 27, 2015 to December 29, 2015; weekdays from 0830hrs to 1530hrs. A draft of the License Agreement for review can be collected upon submission of the application form.

5.       Ballot Session

The Ballot Session is scheduled for Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 1030hrs at Corporate Office of MACL. One (1) representative from each eligible applicant must attend the Ballot Session, and must hold a letter of authorization from the company.
