Provision of Legal Services on Retainer Basis

1. Payment Maldives Private Limited (Payment Maldives) seeks to procure legal services from a legal practitioner established in the Maldives on a retainer basis. The legal practitioner will be engaged to provide the services as stipulated in the scope of work of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for this Bid.

2. The RFP will be shared with the registered bidders who declare their interest to participate in the bid before the registration deadline. Please ensure the document is thoroughly reviewed prior to the submission of bid documents.

3. A Bidder may be a legal practice or a law firm registered with the Bar Council of the Maldives under Sections 61 or 62 of Law No. 5/2019 (Legal Profession Act of the Maldives). Bidders must observe the highest standard of ethics during the execution of contracts, and must demonstrate that it has the capacity, capability and experience required to execute the project.

5. Bidders requiring any clarification of the Bidding Documents, shall email their queries to [email protected] before 11:00 hours (Maldives Time) of 20^th January 2026. The response to clarifications shall be provided by MMA on or before 15:00 hours (Maldives Time) of 20^th January 2026.

6. All bid documents must be submitted at 11:00 hours (Maldives Time) of 22^nd January 2026, Thursday in hard copy in a sealed envelope stating the announcement number and name of the proposal to the below address:
