INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
Construction of Seenu Hithadhoo Regional Hospital
1. The Government of Republic of Maldives has received loan from Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) and Opec Fund for International Development (OFID) towards the cost of Infrastructure development of a tertiary hospital and intends to apply part of the proceed of this grant payments under the contract; Construction of Seenu Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.
2. The Government of Maldives, represented by Ministry of Finance and Treasury (MOFT) on behalf of the Ministry of Health, cancels the Invitation No: (IUL) 13-K/13/2015/15 now intends re-invite eligible bidders for Pre-Qualification of contractors for the Construction of Seenu Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.
3. A complete set of the Pre-qualification documents in electronic format may be obtained from Tender Evaluation Section of Ministry of Finance and Treasury, fromNovember 22, 2015 to December 16, 2015 between 0830hrs and 1330hrs on all working days, upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa Thousand Five Hundred). It is also published in the Ministry of Finance and Treasury’s website www.finance.gov.mv

5. Submission of applications for pre-qualification shall be in English and must be received in a sealed envelope marked “Application for Pre-Qualification for Construction of Seenu Hithadhoo Regional Hospital” to Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified above in Clause 4 of this Invitation for Pre-Qualification, on or before 1100 hrs Maldivian time on December 17, 2015, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
