Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) is seeking dedicated, motivated, and energetic individuals to join the Cargo & Ramp Operations Team at Hanimaadhoo International Airport (HIA). Successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely ground handling and cargo operations to support airport and airline activities.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operators

• Operate and maintain Ground Service Equipment (GSE) such as baggage tractors, loaders, and tugs.
• Ensure safe and efficient aircraft loading and unloading operations.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report defects or maintenance requirements.
• Support ramp teams during aircraft turnaround activities while adhering to all safety and operational procedures.

Operations Officers

• Supervise and coordinate daily ramp and cargo operations in compliance with airport safety and operational standards.
• Oversee loading/unloading, cargo handling, and equipment operations.
• Maintain effective communication with flight operations, airside control, and other departments.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, logs, and shift handovers.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to safety and security protocols.

Baggage Hands

• Safely handle passenger baggage during loading and unloading operations.
• Sort, tag, and transfer baggage as per flight schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in baggage handling areas.
• Assist ramp teams in aircraft turnaround operations when required.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Operations Officers: Completed O’ Level with at least 3 passes.
• Equipment Operators & Baggage Hands: Completed Grade 10 or possess Basic Literacy with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in ground handling, ramp, or cargo operations.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of airside safety and operational procedures.
• Ability to operate ground service equipment (for Equipment Operators).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
