Officer - Risk Management and Compliance
Position Type: Permanent (Initial contract shall be for a period of 1 (one) year. The contract shall be renewed as permanent based on performance upon successful completion of one year.)
REQUIREMENTS
- GCE A’ Level (2 passes, grade C & above) or Diploma in Business Administration or any other relevant field
- Minimum 1 year work experience will be an added advantage
- Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Pleasant personality
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the implementation of the company’s Risk Management and Compliance Framework and assist in day-to-day departmental activities.
- Collect and compile information for risk registers, compliance reports, and other regulatory submissions.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support AML/CFT activities, including KYC verification, record maintenance, and transaction monitoring
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely updates of departmental registers and files
- Coordinate with other departments to gather information required for risk and compliance reviews
- Prepare drafts and assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management and committees
- Participate, assist, and accomplish any other work as requested by the Supervisor
