Officer - Reinsurance
Position Type: Permanent (Initial contract shall be for a period of 1 (one) year. The contract shall be renewed as permanent based on performance upon successful completion of one year.)
REQUIREMENTS
- GCE A’ Level (2 passes, grade C & above) or Diploma in Accounting & Finance or Business Administration
- Insurance qualification will be an added advantage
- Minimum 1 year work experience will be an added advantage
- Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Pleasant personality
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works related to Facultative reinsurance placement
- Preparing monthly and quarterly treaty statements
- Preparing and communication of Reinsurance closings
- Preparing Memorandums and communicating to Accounts & Finance Department for payment
- Preparing and communication of loss advises to reinsurers
- Maintaining RI register in a timely manner
- Other work related to Reinsurance
- Overtake any tasks relating to the department in the absence of the other employee(s)
- Expected to adhere to existing Company policies and procedures, to ensure performance standards are maintained through the organization
- Participate, assist and accomplish Department’s other work if requested by immediate Supervisor and /or HOD or Executive Management
