Allowances


    • Review existing laws, policies, and regulations related to disability.
    • Identify gaps and recommend revisions to align with CRPD, Disability Act, and best practices.
    • Develop operational guidelines for inclusive program implementation.
    • Contribute to the design of monitoring tools and indicators to track disability inclusion in services.
    • Design and deliver training modules for government staff, service providers, and NGOs.
    • Provide technical input for awareness-raising materials and disability mainstreaming tools.
    • Facilitate consultations with Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), NGOs, and sectoral ministries.
    • Coordinate with regional and international partners to align technical standards and leverage resources.

 

Responsibilities

  • Master’s Degree in Health, Social Sciences, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field, such as disability inclusion, social protection, or human rights-based programming, especially within large organizations or government institutions.

 

 

Required Qualification

The Ministry of Social and Family Development now invites interested individuals qualified for the assignments to submit Expression of Interest inclusive of the following documentation to demonstrate your eligibility for the assignment.

Job Deadline

The short-listed candidate will be requested to participate in personal interviews and submit the names and contact details of personal referees who can attest to their ability.

 

The successful candidate must understand the objectives and delivery mechanisms of the project’s portfolio. He/she must be willing to work in a team, be flexible to emerging or changing conditions, and undertake initiative in his/her broad field of actions

 

Shortlist

Interview will held between 25th August 2025– 20th September 2025 in Ministry of Social and Family Development.
