INVITATION FOR BIDS

Hiring of an Event Organizer to conceptualize, plan, coordinate and setup a Public Engagement Event in celebration of the 2025 World Ozone Day  

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Tourism and Environment has received financing from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) for strengthening of the National Ozone Unit and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project “To Hire Event Organizers to conceptualize, plan, coordinate and setup a Public Engagement Event in celebration of the 2025 World Ozone Day“. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Tourism and Environment’s website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading. It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Security

The bidder shall furnish a bid security of MVR 1,000 (One Thousand Maldives Rufiyaa) for the Project. The bid security shall be valid for 90 days from the date of the bid opening.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Tourism and Environment (Dharubaaruge), before 12:00 PM Maldivian Time on 21^st August 2025. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 12:05 PM on 21^st August 2025 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
