Job Responsibilities
|
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on design drawings
- Assist in cost planning and budget development during design stages
- Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and contractor works
- Evaluate contractor claims and variations; provide recommendations
- Conduct site measurements and prepare progress valuations
- Track cost-to-complete forecasts and flag potential budget risks
- Support procurement processes, including tender evaluations, recommendations, and price comparisons
- Prepare interim payment certificates and final account settlements
- Coordinate with design and site teams to resolve quantity discrepancies
- Provide cost-related updates in monthly project reports

Required Qualifications
|
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in quantity surveying or cost control within construction or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in common drafting / design software (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
|
Preferred Requirements
|
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Familiarity with standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, NEC)
- Competency in Microsoft Project
|
