Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on design drawings
• Assist in cost planning and budget development during design stages
• Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and contractor works
• Evaluate contractor claims and variations; provide recommendations
• Conduct site measurements and prepare progress valuations
• Track cost-to-complete forecasts and flag potential budget risks
• Support procurement processes, including tender evaluations, recommendations, and price comparisons
• Prepare interim payment certificates and final account settlements
• Coordinate with design and site teams to resolve quantity discrepancies
• Provide cost-related updates in monthly project reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in quantity surveying or cost control within construction or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in common drafting / design software (e.g., AutoCAD)
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Preferred Requirements

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
• Familiarity with standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, NEC)
• Competency in Microsoft Project
