Greater Male’ Environmental Improvement and Waste Management Project

Request for Expressions of Interest

The Government of the Republic of Maldives has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Greater Male’ Environmental Improvement and Waste Management Project. The Project is targeted, in addition to Greater Male’ to all the inhabited islands of Zone 3, which includes Kaafu Atoll, Alifu Alifu Atoll, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, Vaavu Atoll. The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technologhy (MOECT) intends to use part of this financing for the following consultancy services

1. Community Mobilization and Gender Expert

The Ministry therefore, invites interested individuals, who meet the requirements specified in the TORs to submit the following;

• Letter of Expression of Interest (EOI)
• Curriculum Vitae. The CV must contain all the past similar experiences in details
• Attested copies of educational and professional certificates. Copies of the educational certificate shall be taken from the original accredited certificates.
• Copy of the National Identification Card.

Application by a current civil servant must accompany a letter from the applicant’s current employer stating no-objection of releasing him/her from the job.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.  

The successful candidate(s) must understand the objectives and delivery mechanisms of the project’s portfolio.

Successful candidates will be paid on deliverable basis as given in the TOR. The total fee for the service is given below.

Expression of Interests must be submitted, via email to [email protected] or through ADB Consultant Management System on or before 11.00pm of 16^th June 2025.
