Salary

• Responsible for the maintenance and operation of all machinery onboard.
•  Maintaining awareness of the correct procedures as outlined in the company’s policies and quality, health and safety and environmental system within his department.
• Ensure all critical spares are always onboard including cargo hold temperature maintenance equipment spares.
• Ensuring that the ships drawings and plans and instruction manuals for machinery are correct, up to date and correctly filed.

Key Responsibilities

• Must have completed level 7 certificate in Marine/mechanical Engineering with 10 years of experience. Or
• Must have completed level 8 certificate in Marine/mechanical Engineering with 7 years of experience. Or
• Must have completed level 9 certificate in Marine/mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience.
• Management experience and experience with good Reefer Freezer Vessel will be an added advantage.
• Should be physically fit to work on board.
• Should be fluent in English written and Oral.
