Assistant Site Engineer

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

  • Diploma in a relevant field
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a relevant field

OVERALL SCOPE

Supervise, manage, and instruct the construction crew while monitoring progress, maintaining quality, and coordinating with relevant personals to carry out the necessary day to day work.

 

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Supervise construction crew staff and track the status/progress of ongoing projects and prepare reports accordingly.
  • Observe and inspect projects during construction to assure high quality results.
  • Monitor construction projects to control costs.             
  • Inspect work in progress for compliance with drawings, specifications and local regulations.                            
  • Record daily progress charts and maintain accordingly.                            
  • Measure construction work in progress on site.
  • Co-ordinate work assignments with Assistant Project Manager, Site Engineers and external contractors to ensure timely completion of required repairs and/or construction.
  • Assist in the process of management and coordination of regular negotiations, inspections and approvals.
  • Prepare and maintain all records of project related documents.
  • Provide regular updates on work progress to the Project Manager to ensure alignment with project timelines and expectations.

 

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to manage and instruct the construction crew and other team members.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Should possess project management and planning skills.
  • Should be able to priorities tasks and manage one's own time effectively              
  • Proactive, highly motivated and flexible.
  • Should be familiar with relevant software such as Microsoft Office package and AutoCAD.

 

SALARY PACKAGE

Gross Salary of MVR 17,000.00 to MVR 19,000.00 based of qualification and experience.
