Event Management Firm for “MAGEY SAAFU RAAJJE – NATIONAL WASTE AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE 2025”-2^nd Tender

1. The Government of Republic of Maldives represented Ministry of Tourism and Environment has received financing from The World bank and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project; Hiring of an “Event Management Firm for “MAGEY SAAFU RAAJJE – NATIONAL WASTE AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE 2025 ".

    The Ministry Hereby, cancels the proposals received in response to the invitation number: (IUL)438-WMPC/438/2024/458, as a result of changes to the scope, and re-invites sealed proposals from eligible and qualified bidders for the non-consulting services Specified in the attached Terms of Reference.

2. Bidding document (Request for Proposals- Non- Consulting Services with terms of reference) shall be available to download in the National Gazette, along with this Invitation.

3. Procurement process will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a “Request for Bids” (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers -” dated July 1, 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Bid Registration

    Interested bidders shall be registered to submit a bid. Registration will be open from the time of the publishing of this invitation until, 14:00hrs of 9^th April 2025 via Email to [email protected] stating Reference No. of this Invitation, Project Name, Company name, email address and contact number.

5. Bid Security or Bid Securing Declaration

    The bid security of MVR 10,000 (Ten Thousand) or equivalent in USD for the project. The bid security shall be valid for 90 days from the date of the bid opening.

    Bidder may submit a bid securing declaration instead of bid security. “Form for Bid Securing declaration” attached in Section 2: Bidding forms of the bidding document must be filled and submitted.

6. Pre-bid Meeting

    A pre-bid meeting will be held in Waste transfer building at 10:00hrs on April 6^th, 2025.

7. Proposal Validity and Bid Opening

    Proposal shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Waste transfer building, Ministry of Tourism and Environment before 11:00 AM (Maldivian Time) on 10^th April 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted and Late bids shall be rejected.

    The bids will be opened at 13:00hrs of 10^th April 2025 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.

8. Bid Clarification

    Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to below given mail address on or before 7^th April 2025, 14:00 hours.
