Job Announcement: Administrative Intern
The Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) Maldives is inviting applications for the position of Administrative Intern. This 18-month internship provides valuable hands-on experience in administrative support and event coordination within a dynamic sports organization, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the Olympic movement in the Maldives.
Position Overview: The Administrative Intern will assist in supporting the daily operations of the CGA Maldives, including managing office tasks, organizing documents, and coordinating administrative activities. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication and logistical support for the initiatives of CGA Maldives, including meetings, events, and international engagements. The intern will have the opportunity to develop professional administrative skills and gain practical experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Office Assistance: Organizing documents, managing records, and maintaining office systems.
• Correspondence: Handling emails, official letters, and communication with stakeholders.
• Event Support: Assisting in preparing materials and coordinating arrangements for meetings, workshops, and events.
• Operational Support: Assisting in various activities related to sports development and stakeholder engagement.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining and updating internal databases, including athlete records and administrative files.
• Logistical Support: Assisting in arranging travel, accommodation, and schedules for CGA Maldives representatives when required.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Completed secondary education (A-Level) or a certificate/diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with digital office tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in an administrative role is an advantage.
• Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 25.
