REQUEST FOR BIDS
Production of Merchandise items to promote the “Magey Saafu Raajje Initiative”

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Tourism and Environment and Ener has received financing from The World bank and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract under the contract for the project; Production of Merchandise items to promote the “Magey Saafu Raajje Initiative”. The Ministry, invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders.

Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” World Bank Procurement Regulations for Borrowers under Investment Project Financing, dated July 1, 2016, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Bid Registration
Interested bidders shall be registered to submit a bid. Registration will be open from the time of the publishing of this invitation until, 14:00hrs of 13th March 2025 via Email to [email protected] stating Reference No. of this Invitation, Project Name, Company name, email address and contact number. This tender is only open for registered parties.
Bid Security
The bidder shall furnish a bid security of MVR 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand). The bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of the bid opening.
Bidder may submit a bid securing declaration instead of bid security. “Form for Bid Securing declaration” attached in 64th page of the bidding document shall be filled, Signed and submitted.
Pre-bid Meeting
A pre-bid meeting will be held in Saafu raajje building on 11:00am of March 9th 2025. Bidders who have not registered, may obtain further information by writing to the address below on or before 1000 Hours Maldivian time on March 9, 2025.
Bid Validity and Bid Opening
Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Saafu Raajje building, Ministry of Tourism and Environment, before 11:00 AM (Maldivian Time) on 20 March 2025 Electronic Bidding will not be permitted and Late bids shall be rejected.
The bids will be opened at 11:00AM on 20th March 2025 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
