Male’ Water & Sewerage Company Pvt Ltd is desirous in employing a Contractor for the work of “Major Overhaul of all YANMAR Engines, Generators and Gearboxes on MWSC Marine 1 and MWSC Marine 5

Scope of Work

Male’ Water & Sewerage Company Pvt. Ltd. is desirous in employing a CONTRACTOR to Carry out Major Overhaul of all YANMAR Engines, Gearbox and Generators on-board MWSC Marine 1 and Marine 5 – Landing Craft. The scope of work includes;

Marine - 5 

Deliverables: 

• To supply all genuine parts and manpower required to complete the major overhaul of all YANMAR Engines, Gearbox and Generators on-board MWSC Marine 1 and Marine 5 – Landing Craft 
• Includes service or replacement of all fuel injectors / nozzles, fuel pumps, starter motors, seawater pumps, coolers, turbochargers
• No extra charges will be accepted unless agreed in writing and signed by the vendor prior to the work being done. 
• Any special tools and testing equipment required shall be arranged by the vendor, this excludes general workshop tools. Transportation expenses to be borne by vendor. (if required) 
• Should update the status of repair weekly through email. 
• Should provide schedule of works and meet set deadlines. 
• Payments will be processed after getting repair confirmation from Logistics Management Department. 
• Should complete the work within agreed duration. 

Qualification Requirement

Interested and competent contractors wishing to carry out the above project must submit the following documents.

• Business Registration Certificate at Economic Ministry
• Mira Tax Clearance (within 6 months prior to the bid submission deadline)
• GST Registration
• Company Business Information Sheet (Economic Ministry), Generated within 1 week prior to the Bid submission deadline 
• Apart from above, contractors may submit any documents, information that may be necessary to prove their qualification for the work.

Those who wish to participate in the tender must pay a non-refundable participation fee of MVR 500. Interested candidates shall register for the tender through MWSC website https://www.mwsc.com.mv/tenders and fill out the tender form to proceed with the payment for registration. Payment must be made on or before 01^st March 2025.

Each bidder shall furnish a bid security in the amount of MVR 10,000/-. Successful bidder shall furnish to the Employer a performance Bank Guarantee in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Contract sum within Fourteen (14) days of receipt of the notification of award from the Employer.
