Allowance

  • Write and edit content for MSFD publications, reports, newsletters, social media, and press releases.
  • Develop articles, blogs, and case studies that show case MSF programs, initiatives, and success stories.
  • Create speeches, talking points, and briefing notes for senior leadership.
  • Conduct research to gather relevant information and ensure content is accurate and aligns with MSFD’s objectives.
  • Analyze feedback and comments to ensure content meets the needs of target audiences.
  • Work closely with the Media and Public Relation unit to ensure all written content is consistent with MSFD’s branding, messaging, and strategic communicaDtion goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments within MSFD to collect information and develop content for various initiatives.
  • Review and edit drafts for clarity, consistency, and grammar before publication.
  • Ensure that all content adheres to MSFD’s editorial standards and guidelines.

 

Additional Skills as an Advantage

Proven ability to produce high-quality written content in various formats (reports, articles, speeches, etc.).

Strong research and analytical skills.

Excellent command of written and spoken language, with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

 

Responsibilities

Minimum of 1 years of professional writing experience, preferably in a government agency or media outlet.

 

 

Required Qualification

The Ministry of Social and Family Development now invites interested individuals qualified for the assignments to submit Expression of Interest inclusive of the following documentation to demonstrate your eligibility for the assignment.

  1. Cover Letter for Expression of Interest.
  2. CV including information that demonstrates that the candidate is qualified to undertake the scope of work.
  3. Copy of National Identification Card
  4. Reference Work experience document detailing relevant past projects

Job Deadline

The short-listed candidate will be requested to participate in personal interviews and submit the names and contact details of personal referees who can attest to their ability.

 

The successful candidate must understand the objectives and delivery mechanisms of the project’s portfolio. He/she must be willing to work in a team, be flexible to emerging or changing conditions, and undertake initiative in his/her broad field of actions

Interview will held between 15th February 2025 – 05th March 2025 in Ministry of Social and Family Development.
