HDFC is a privatized company with International Shareholders represented by the International Finance Corporation (IFC of World Bank Group), Asian Development Bank, and HDFC Bank Ltd. of India, jointly holding 51% of shares.

Job Description

Customer Service

  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries through multiple channels, including phone calls, emails, chatbot, and other correspondence, providing prompt and accurate information regarding products and services reflecting professionalism and sincerity.
  • Attend to customer complaints, address their concerns effectively to ensure the customer journey is a satisfying one.
  • Observe areas where customer journey can be improved, propose suggestions and help achieve the company’s goals and objectives for customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the customer service area is organized, presentable and reflects the commitment of the company towards its customers and clients.

Business Development Support

  • Employ a proactive role to gather leads, follow up, arrange meetings and convert leads into sales.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights during interactions to support Business Development strategies and improve product offerings.
  • Provide sufficient, accurate and reliable information to customers regarding the application, pre-eligibility, processes, etc. Play an active role to achieve the annual targets of the company related to business development.
  • Assist with marketing efforts by providing data and feedback to improve customer engagement strategies.
  • Actively lead in information dissemination on HDFC’s products and services during marketing campaigns, events, roadshows, etc.
  • Assist to conduct market research and competitor analysis on financing products and services.

Administrative Support

  • Manage and organize administrative tasks, such as receiving documents and application forms, dispatching documents, and ensure no task is missed or misplaced.
  • Provide support to team members on various projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with preparing reports and compiling data on customer interactions for analysis.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications effectively.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient workflow within the department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide information and support as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Requirement

  • GCE A’ Level or Diploma in related field.

Experience

  • 2 or more years of experience in customer service will be an added advantage.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in handling customer queries and providing information effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and pro-active to problem solving.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision

Salary: Salary ranging from MVR 11,000 to 13,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Working Hours: The selected candidate will be required to work from 08:00 to 16:00 hrs, from Sunday – Thursday.
