INVITATION FOR TENDER

HIRING A VESSEL TO TRANSFER CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL ITEMS TO REGIONAL OUTLETS

State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to offer the opportunity to submit proposals for hiring a vessel to transfer construction material items to regional outlets for 1 (one) year.

Hiring a vessel to transfer construction material items to regional outlets (time charter).

Main Scope

Transfer of Construction Materials (Bags) from K. Thilafushi to Regional Outlets.

Destinations

B. Eydhafushi Hdh. Kulhudhufushi

Ha. Hoarafushi L. Fonadhoo

Ga. Villingili Gdh. Thinadhoo

S. Hithadhoo S. Hulhumeedhoo

Sub Scope

Transfer of staple foods, medical & general cargo to Regional Outlets.

3. The Eligible Tenderers are limited to:

The applicant must not be a Blacklisted / Default/ Legal Customer of State Trading Organization Plc. or any subsidiaries of State Trading Organization Plc.
The applicant must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Ministry of Finance and must not have any unresolved issues with the Ministry of Economic Development or MIRA

4. Vessel specifications:

Vessel Type: Wood or Fiber
Vessel Loading Capacity: Minimum 225MT (4500 Bags) and Maximum: 250MT (5000 Bags) 50kg Construction Materials Bags
Empty vessel should not be higher than 06ft from top deck surface to sea level
Vessel below deck (cargo hold) should be available for loading of general cargo (Home improvement & Supermarket items)
