Greater Male’ Environmental Improvement and Waste Management Project

Request for Expressions of Interest- Assistant Project Coordinator

The Government of the Republic of Maldives has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Greater Male’ Environmental Improvement and Waste Management Project. The Project is targeted, in addition to Greater Male’ to all the inhabited islands of Zone 3, which includes Kaafu Atoll, Alifu Alifu Atoll, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, Vaavu Atoll. The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MoECCT) intends to use part of this financing for full time services of a;

1. Assistant Project Coordinator

The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MoECCT) therefore, invites interested individuals, who meet the requirements specified in the TORs to submit the following;

• Letter of Expression of Interest (EOI)
• Curriculum Vitae. The CV must contain all the past similar experiences in details
• Attested copies of educational and professional certificates. Copies of the educational certificate shall be taken from the original accredited certificates.
• Reference letters from previous employments.
• Copy of the National Identification Card.

Application by a current civil servant must accompany a letter from the applicant’s current employer stating no-objection of releasing him/her from the job.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.  

The successful candidate(s) will be working in a team and must be willing to work for extended hours without much direct supervision and may be required to travel routinely to the project islands in         Zone 3.

The successful candidate(s) must understand the objectives and delivery mechanisms of the project’s portfolio. He/She will be flexible to emerging or changing conditions and undertake an initiative in his/her broad field of actions.

Successful candidates will be paid an all-inclusive monthly remuneration as per the table below
